From my desk the beautiful month of May is all around us in her splendour of green, yellow and reds.
On a recent trip into the country I took this photo to remind me of the beauty of Autumn in the coming winter months when trees will have a stark beauty of their own... but for now, just relish this!

1. Art as Expansion into Unlimited Potentiality
Everything exists for joy. There is not one other reason for life than joy. We've got nothing to prove to anyone, because nobody other than All-That-Is is watching. In other words, we're not trying to get brownie points from some other galaxy. We're not trying to get someplace else; we're not trying to get it done, because there is no ending—we cannot get it done. Everything exists for the purpose of joy in the moment.

2. In An Emotional Trap? How To Pivot Out
What do you want to experience?
If you want to manifest happiness, joy, success and wellbeing instead of stress, worry, anxiety or failure,you have to listen to your feelings.
Your feelings are the representatives of your guidance system.
Negative thoughts generate negative emotions.
Any negative emotion is a message from your Inner Being that you are thinking a negative thought. When you are thinking a negative thought, it is starting the ball rolling toward a negative outcome in your life. Your Inner Being uses the negative emotion to signal you that it is time to change the thought you are thinking.
So now you are probably thinking 'here we go again... change your thoughts. I've heard that one before'.
It is much easier to monitor your emotions than it is to monitor your thoughts...
Now isn't that something?
We have way too many thoughts, and many of them are so habitual and have become exaggerated, it is hard for us to even catch them on the way through.
It just feels normal to think negatively, we have been doing it for so long.
In order to lessen negative emotion in our lives, we must first learn to find the thoughts that are causing the fear, anger or frustration and get better at changing the thoughts, so the thoughts come up less and less often and you feel good more and more often.
Rescuing yourself from being in a really bad place
If you have followed negative thoughts into a really bad place, so you are deep into pain, a withdrawal of attention from the unwanted condition is necessary in order to release it.
This is where you need to pivot (turn around)
It can feel almost impossible to just change the total direction of your thoughts, since you are in such a bad place.
At that point, it is best to just go to sleep, see a movie, take a walk in the park,
read a book, swim,fantasize about sex or distract yourself in some way so that you get back to your feel good state.
Then from that new feel good state, when you have the first twinge of negative emotion again, now, THAT is the time to jump on it, and really notice the thought that is playing at the moment.
You stop, notice you are feeling bad, and look for the thought that caused the emotion.
You notice it is a habitual thought of "I am not enough." You say to yourself,
"Well, this negative emotion means this thought isn't true. What is the truth about me? What do I want to believe about myself? I want to believe that I am enough. I want to know that I am wonderful, in fact."
If you feel better with what you said to yourself, your change tactic has been successful! Feeling a sense of relief is a clear sign of a neatly executed change! Well done!

...You Are Just Dehydrated!
Almost all the people you see and meet on a daily basis are dehydrated. How many folks complain of a lack of energy? It’s the number one complaint in western society.
Insufficient energy is the first sign that the blood, tissues, and organs are not getting enough water, and your liver and brain are the least tolerant of a lack of water.
This has led some medical researchers to conclude that Alzheimer’s disease is simply the result of long-term dehydration of the brain.
Both water intake and thirst sensation decline with age, and so does mental function.
When your pituitary gland begins to dry up, vasopressin, a hormone it secretes, is likewise handicapped. Vasopressin regulates the flow of water to the cells and intracellular spaces in your body. When this hormone reaches a cell membrane, it presses water through a filtration receptor so that only water reaches and hydrates the cell.
This is crucial because vital organs begin to fail without proper hydration.
Consider this: when you take a coffee break, that ingested caffeine limits the secretion of vasopressin and keeps it from circulating. Thus, even though you are getting plenty of water with the coffee, your cells are dehydrating. Alcohol has the same effect, which is why drinkers are incredibly thirsty in the morning after a bout of heavy drinking.
Every time you move any body part, even a finger or toe, water is required. That’s why dehydrated people have so many aches and pains. It’s also why people look so old; their dehydrated organs steal the water from their skin in order to function.
Remember, under ordinary circumstances, you expel up to 4.5 liters ( 1 gallon) of water every twenty-four hours. What do you think happens when you don’t replenish that supply? Your body experiences a drought condition!
A mere two percent (yes, so little!) drop in hydration will make your short-term memory so fuzzy that you’ll be unable to remember your friends’ names, have trouble doing basic math, and forget where you put your keys. (Why does this feel so familiar to me, suddenly?) Since seventy-five percent of us are chronically dehydrated, it’s no wonder people are losing their minds.
Yet, the solution is so simple: cool, clean water. Drink eight to ten eight glasses a day of pure distilled water, and you’ll be amazed at how many ailments disappear.
Don’t worry; you’re not demented — just dehydrated!
